Hotels in Maui?

My best friend and I have a tradition of going to Maui,Hawaii every year. This year, our normal condo in Kaanapali is booked up. We would get a really good deal on it too. Now, we are trying to find a good, clean place for under 200 a night.
Our stay is December 30th 2008- Jan 10th 2009.
We are wanting a place witha nice beach close by, and not too far from Lahaina(sp?) since that is where we spend our “nights”. I’ve looked online at the basic travel websites, and not much good. Anyone know of any other places besides Expedia,Travelocity etc…..

Hey there,
I just got back from Lahaina, and we stayed at Royal Lahaina Hotel, which is right on Ka’anapali beach, just north of “black rock”, and it was really nice. I highly recommend it. All the rooms are newly renovated, have flat screen TV’s, nice pillow tops, cool bathrooms, views, etc. You can see pictures here:
