Selling your home fast
I have recently been considering selling my house and as with a lot of subjects like this have been attempting to work out what the best way to make the house look good before we either sell our house or remain in it for a while longer. I started by looking at different rooms in the house and thinking about what I might do to better them and iron out the issues I might feel about them.
The heart of my house is the kitchen so I started their considering the kitchen layout, our kitchen is a fitted kitchen which is quite east to use with a useful work space (luckily I spoke to a local kitchen company about kitchen planning ahead of buying). The floor was a bit of an issue with only lino down which had got a bit ripped up as I had moved washing machines and fridges about in it. I sought out some tiling advice from a local company to get the floor tiles that would blend in with the kitchen units without making the room appear to dark (just some of the small things you have to think about when you come to sell your house, initial impressions are everything within the small time somebody has to view your house).
The next room I wanted to ensure was up to scratch was the bathroom, my bathroom layout was a little small due to some fitted cupboards which when removed gave me a lot more space (which if you are going on first impressions could help sell my house). Once again I popped down to the area tiler for some useful tiling advice and used big light tiles which seemed to open the space in the room, just one of the many things to be considering when buying bathroom tiles.
The other rooms I painted with a neutral light colour which seemed to draw the rooms out and gave the whole house a fresh look. I then took out as much stuff as I could and boxed everything that wasn’t essential away in the garage. The final thing, a house that I wanted to stay in, but after just a few viewings brought to me from an online property site I have got some serious interest, so fingers crossed ill be able to sell my house soon.
